Ang photoshoot na sobrang daming aberya. >.<

My newest muse, Arjane. I’ve been wanting to shoot her since she was a freshman! We finally got around to it a few days before our graduation day haha!

I actually kind of like this photo, the cutter thing looks scary, and Pier’s expression looks unsure and a bit scared. But I don’t get the point of this photo? Is she trying to endorse DeWALT or something? /fail

This one’s a little better. Just a little.

These photos aren’t supposed to turn out like this. The concept is waaaay off our initial peg. It was supposed to be a classy non-cliche rock-chic theme outdoor daytime shoot with lots of shiny stuff. And Arjane was supposed to be the only model, we planned about 3 outfits and scouted different outdoor locations. This was probably one of those shoots we planned ahead that much.
But on the day itself, it rained. Arjane got some delays travelling from Manila. My friend Mark was supposed to shoot with us but he couldn’t make it. By the time we were able to get things going, it was 8 PM.
You’d think I would’ve given up much sooner (from a 1pm to an 8pm shoot. What.), but somehow I didn’t. I’m used to delays in shoots with Pier (because sometimes we get lazy), and I’m used to things not going my way. So I trudged on. Little did I know that this shoot would test my patience. We ended up just shooting in the basement/garage of Pier’s house, romancing all the powertools (so much for non-cliche). Well, simply because that’s probably the only place in her house that we haven’t shot yet. (so much for the rooftop with plenty of natural light idea).
Since we were shooting at her house, at night, anyway, Pier decided to model too. Well that was a good decision at least. We went on, shooting and shooting til almost midnight. Nothing went as planned with this shoot and I just wanted at least one halfway decent photo to show for it.
I’m not sure if these ones I got are good enough. If you were critical, you’d see that this set is incoherent, cliche, badly lit and overall weird.

Me flanked by my (skinny) muses. They made me dress up too LOL. But I don’t have a good photo of myself.
I was the only one not wearing heels so I’m the shortest one here.
I like it, though. After everything that happened, these now have sentimental value to me. For the memories, and for the lessons learned, these shall remain in my blog.
Sorry if this entry is weird. I was just waiting for some file transfers to finish as I typed this. Also, I’m super sleepy. It’s 2AM and I have to be up early to print things, then off to Manila for some stuff. Joyce is out, peace.
